Seth Green reveals Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is a tale about Nebula and Gamora, however he’s not sure about its timeline.
Seth Green, the voice of Howard the Duck in a triplet of Marvel Cinematic Universe films and a couple of What If…? scenes, offered a little understanding into the imminent third and last portion of James Gunn’s cosmic adventures, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. In a new interview with ComicBook.com, Green was inquired as to whether he will show up in the impending film.
“I don’t know if Howard’s a part of it, I haven’t heard anything about that,” Green answered. “The only thing I know is that it’s the girls’ story, it’s the sisters’ story, that it’s Gamora and Nebula’s story. So I don’t know if it’s a prequel, or if it comes off in the new timeline that’s splintered post-the Time Heist. Honestly, I don’t know anything about it.”
Green likewise referenced that he wouldn’t be harmed in case Howard is certainly not a “focal person” in the story focused on the sisters. Nebula herself, Karen Gillan, has gone on record as saying that the content for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 remaining the two her and co-star Pom Klementieff, who plays Mantis, in “floods of tears.” Gunn reacted to those remarks with guarantees of large jobs for each character. “You’re looking further into existing characters and on a more profound level. I’m truly energized at investigating Nebula, post-Thanos,” he said.
While the plot for the end film of the Guardians odyssey stays obscure, Gunn has indicated that there could be a few passing for fundamental characters included. In the wake of losing grown-up Groot in the primary film, Yondu in Vol. 2 and getting a preference for bloodletting in The Suicide Squad, it appears to be the chief is determined to make a dramatic exit. Bits of gossip about it being the last film for Dave Bautista, who plays Drax, have added to fuel to the fire. Nonetheless, Gillan made it clear in July that she desires to play Nebula past GotG 3. “I love my person to such an extent. I’m somewhat fixated on her,” she clarified. “So I couldn’t want anything more than to proceed with the excursion of the person. I don’t have the foggiest idea what that would truly resemble without [director] James Gunn or [Drax actor] Dave Bautista, yet I truly like playing her, so I’m not anxious to wrap up.”
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 is set to release in theaters May 5, 2023.
